How to Join
Periodically during the year, opportunities are offered for people to learn more about our church and consider full membership in it. Called Orientation Sessions (2 of them), these 1-hour gatherings give an overview of the United Church of Christ, First Congregational Church, UCC and the meaning of membership as well as a chance to meet people who serve on the various boards/committees.
Members are received by one of three ways:
Transfer of membership from another church
Re-affirmation of Faith (have belonged to another church at some time, but are not transferring membership)
Affirmation of Faith (first time to join a church)
Anyone who is interested in membership is welcome to call the church office, speak with our New Member Coordinator (Carol Schaub), or contact our minister.
