What's New

The First Congregational UCC is currently undergoing a large scale remodeling project of the Kitchen and Fellowship Hall areas.   This project is expected to be completed by mid April of 2008.  The newly renovated areas will be dedicated on April 21st.

The newly organized Search Committee is currently in the process of developing a description of our church.  They have been listening to as many members of the Congregation as possible to get an accurate picture of our Congregation as it searches for a new minister.  They hope to finish this part of the process by the end of April.  Than our job offer will be listed nationally so that potential candidates may apply.  We hope to have a new called minister by the beginning of 2009.
The members of the Committe are:  Tommi Boeder, Evelyn Badger, Mark Liabo, Lauren Crippes, Myron Wilson, Lisa Lawrence, Brett Stephenson, McKenna Bernard,  and Jan Baumer.

During Advent and Epiphany, the Sunday School Students conducted a shoe drive.  Over 340 pairs of new or gently used shoes were donated.  These shoes will be donated to The Share Your Soles organization.  This organization distributes shoes to those in need around the world.
