Community OutreachFirst Congregational Church, United Church of Christ is active in its neighborhood community, including offering our facilities to the Southside Boys and Girls Club and Johnson Elementary School to enhance its mission as a school of the arts. The church also sponsors weekly neighborhood cookouts ("Summer Coalition") during the non-school months.
FCC, UCC members are also independently involved in community outreach through service to many established organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Wellington Heights Organization, Churches United, and Variety-The Children's Charity.
Several organizations within FCC, UCC, including the Senior Men's Groups, Women's Fellowship organizations, and the Benevolence Committee, also make cash donations to many community organizations.
