Interim Sr. Minister - Rev. David Hohmann
If you ask Dave Hohmann where he is from, he'll tell you he is fourth generation clergy. If you read between the lines of that statement, you'll realize it really means he has moved around a great deal in his life. Rev. Hohmann has lived in 26 different places and has served as a transitional interim minister in 33 churches in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Nebraska and most recently Florida. His job for over 20 years has been to help churches facing serious issues. Up until now, he stood by his claim of only serving a church once. That changed when he accepted the call to serve as our interim minister once again. "It's a new experience for me, unlike any I have had before." Rev. Hohmann said.
Rev. Hohmann was born and raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology from McKendree College in Illinois. He went to seminary in St. Louis and then served as a called minister for 10 years. He later pursued his MBA at Winona State College, where he also taught classes in business and personal management. He currently lives in Eagan, Minnesota. Rev. Hohmann's parents, who live in Ottawa, Illinois, recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. He has two brothers, one in St. Louis and one in Chicago.
